Volkswagen Beetle Papercraft - Beta Version - by Papermau
Templates In PDF And 3D Models In Pepakura And Sketchup
Download Now!

This is a Beta (test) version of a classic Volkswagen Beetle. I don't know when I'll finish it, so I'm sharing this first test version without textures and also the 3D models that can be viewed with the free versions of Pepakura Designer and Sketchup.

Despite being a Beta model, I can guarantee that the dimensions are correct, as I used blueprints of a 1965 VW 1300 as a basis.

In addition to the PDF templates for anyone who wants to try putting together this Beta version and the 3D models that can help with this task, I will also leave links to download both Pepakura and Sketchup. Have a good weekend to everyone.

Mazda K 360 Japanese Three-Wheeled Vehicle Paper Model
by Nurarihyon

The Japanese designer and modeler Nurarihyon, creator of this perfect paper model version of a Mazda K360 motorized tricycle, mentioned that he tried to make it as close as possible to the real vehicle, and for that reason, the model is intended for more advanced modelers.

I haven't assembled this model myself, but I took a good look at the templates (third image in this post), and it didn't seem too complicated to me. The Mazda K360 consists of only 36 pieces (some quite small), divided into three sheets of paper. The assembly appears to be quite intuitive, requiring only patience for cutting out the small pieces.

The Mazda K360 motorized tricycle was a variation of the similarly named mini-truck, featuring a three-wheel design. Introduced to the market in 1959, the Mazda K360 motorized tricycle coincided with the original truck model's release.

Like the four-wheel model, production of the motorized tricycle continued until 1971, with various updates over this period. The K360 tricycle featured a three-wheel design with one wheel at the front and two at the rear. This configuration aimed to provide greater stability compared to a conventional tricycle.

An interesting feature of the Mazda K360 motorized tricycle was the ability to tilt the cabin, facilitating access to the engine and allowing for easier maintenance. In addition to cargo transport, the Mazda K360 tricycle was often used for delivery and passenger transport in urban areas, adapting to diverse consumer needs.

During the 1960s, these motorized tricycles were popular in Japan for their economic efficiency and suitability for the road infrastructure of the time, characterized by narrow streets and a more localized lifestyle.

To view and print this model you will need Pepakura Viewer Free Version. When the file opens, you will be asked for a password.

A montagem me parece bem intuitiva, exigindo apenas paciência para recortar as peças pequenas.
